<Graduate School of Economics> Admission for International Students will be incorporated with General Admission

Admission for International Students will be incorporated with General Admission from the April 2018 Intake

   From the April 2018 Intake, international applicants can apply for the General Admission under the mostly same condition
as the Admission for International Students. Applicants can also choose examination conducting language from Japanese or
English as before.
   The Application Guidebook for General Admission will be released on our website around the end of April, 2017.
The application eligibility and required language test score are as follows. 

Application Eligibility (Applicants for April 2018 Intake)

Eligibility for Application to the Master’s Program
Meeting one of the following requirements qualifies you to apply.
(1) Those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from a University by March 31, 2018.
(2) Those who have received or are expected to receive a Bachelor’s degree from the National Institution
for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation by March 31, 2018.
(3) Those who have completed or will complete a minimum of 16 years of academic education overseas by
March 31, 2018.
(4) Those who have completed a professional course, which is specified by the Minister of Education,
Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, at a special training school (which minimum term of study is
four years and meets all criteria set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and
Technology of Japan) on or after the specified date, or those who will complete the course by March 31,
2018.
(5) Those who meet criteria set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
(6) Those who have completed 15 years of academic education overseas, and are recognized by Keio
University to have achieved excellent results in particular subjects.
(7) Those recognized by Keio University as equivalent to having the qualifications listed in (1)-(6) above.

Submittion of Language Test Result

Applicants are required to submit either A or B as a part of application document.

      A. TOEFL iBT, IELTS or GRE (Choose one of three.)
          Test shoud be taken within the following period. The score should be directly sent to Keio University 
           by test-conducting organization. For details, please check the Application Guiedbook.
                             [Examination Period] July 1 (Wed), 2015 -  June 30 (Fri), 2017

      B. Japanese Language Examination *Only available for  the international applicants
           ・Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (N1)
             Test shoud be taken within the following period. Submit an original score report of N1.
                             [Examination Period] July 2015 - December 2016

           ・Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (Japanese): 
             Test shoud be taken within the following period. Submit a photocopy of the score report or 
             examination voucher.
                             [Examination Period] November 2015 - June 2017

        
*"International applicants" are those who  have completed a minimum of 16 years of academic education, 
          and have obtained or be expected to obtain a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from a university outside
          Japan by March 31, 2018. However, those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from the undergraduate 
          level of a Japanese university are not regarded as "international applicants".
