Preferred Academic Advisor

 Choose one preferred academic advisor from the list of Application Guidebook. Applicants cannot select a faculty member who is not on the list.
※Note that some advisors listed may not be able to be your academic advisor due to unavoidable reasons, such as overseas research.
<IMPORTANT>The Master's programs in the Graduate School of Economics can be completed solely in English. Note, however, that there are only a limited number of courses available in English, and desired courses or guidance may be in Japanese. Applicants who wish to apply to the Graduate School of Economics for a degree based only on courses offered in English should contact a faculty member of the Graduate School of Economics before beginning the application process to arrange and confirm the availability of a research advisor who can supervise them only in English.

Payment of Application Fee

Applicants submitting applications from WITHIN Japan
 Applicant from within Japan must pay the application fee at a convenience store inside Japan. Before payment, you must register your payment information (e.g., the graduate school you are applying for, your chosen type of admission, etc.) on e-payment site “e-shiharai.net” (Japanese only) and receive a registration number.

Applicants submitting applications from OUTSIDE Japan
 We accept credit card payments for application fees from applicants who live outside Japan. When credit card payment is completed, print out the screen and submit it with other application documents. For details, please go to the "Payment of Application Fee" page.
